There are many reasons to get excited about the U.S. wind industry. Wind power is home-grown energy, adding $128 billion to the U.S. economy over the past decade. The U.S. manufacturing supply chain includes 500 manufacturing facilities in 43 states, and wind power produces enough electicity to power 20 million homes. Communities benefit from wind farms, which bring $222 million every year in lease payments to rural landowners. With all these factors, it's not surprising that 65% of Americans favor alternative energy over fossil fuels.
"We are working for a better future!"
The U.S. wind industry supports more than 100,000 jobs, and we employ more than 1,500 Americans in Little Rock and Grand Forks.
