QEHS Workstream Leader

    This role leads the QEHS workstream and team members of the Cypress program and reports functionally to the Cypress program leader being at the same time a full member of the Global Quality Assurance team. In this role the position holder manages Quality and EHS across the whole program and sub-projects of the Cypress program primarily on proactive aspects and topics with focus on assuring good quality and safety of all deliverables.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    With the progress of the program reactive topics and aspects like customer complaints and quality/safety issues will need to be fully managed as well
    In addition, the identification and management of program risks are an integral part of the QEHS program assurance focus

    Key responsibilities include:

    - Lead and assure APQP4WIND® (Advanced Product Quality Planning for Wind) compliance being an integral part of the Cypress program and its related subprojects
    - Assure integration of design for manufacturing processes are followed within the program
    - All activities are to support the Cypress program in the reduction of the WCE to the respective target
    - Identify and manage together with the program office all technical and non-technical program and sub-project risks
    - Develop program specific quality assurance and risk management processes, thinking and value creation through knowledge sharing and management
    - Ensure a complete follow through from early risk identification till final validation of risk elimination and report regularly to Cypress Steerco
    - Establish a quality and safety improvement strategies and lead implementation in the Cypress program
    - Monitor, prioritize, and implement programs, projects and KPIs to ensure delivery according to QEHS plans and commitments
    - Assure quality and safety compliance in all program and project reviews, e.g. gate reviews, FMEAs etc
    - Actively participate in the Global Quality Assurance team to develop, prioritize, and implement ambitious strategies with special focus on Cypress
    - Perform strategic analyses, drive verification and validation analysis and monitor outcomes
    - Develop and apply lessons learned feedback systems to drive continuous improvement of processes, tools and quality management systems primarily
    - Lead, conduct or support process and product audits in relation with Cypress program

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    - Strong seniority in project management, quality and EHS, preferably from industrial wind business
    - University studies in Science, Engineering or QEHS from an accredited university or college combined with a Lead Auditor certification or equivalent knowledge or experience
    - A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in relevant fields, primarily in Quality and secondarily in EHS within industrial and manufacturing business environments
    - A minimum of 10 years of experience working with and leading projects or programs, managing risk and change, and facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
    - International experience working in a global matrix organization

    Desired Characteristics:

    - Very strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 and APQP4WIND® or similar industrial quality management systems
    - Strong experience in project management
    - General knowledge of and experience in quality and safety areas in wind turbine blade manufacturing or other relevant industrial manufacturing
    - Well organized, self-driven person, able to work and complete tasks independently and on time
    - Ability to influence multiple levels of leadership within the organization
    - Able to clearly communicate, convince, motivate and inspire others
    - Strong organizational and analytical skills
    - Ability to work in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams
    - Background in LEAN Six Sigma is a plus
    - Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
    - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    - Strong English languages skills (verbal and written) Other regional languages will be considered as a plus
    - Able to travel within the region and internationally at the level of 25% (in average)
