LM Wind Power is experiencing growth where the technological development pushes the boundaries faster than ever. The new products, production processes, transport solutions and other developing areas of interest need increased attention. Our engineers are coming up with many new ideas to be handled by the patent team and our patent portfolio is continuously increasing, therefore we are seeking a patent attorney to strengthen our team.

    - Directing external attorneys to support the strategies of the business
    - Competitor monitoring
    - Promotion of IP awareness through education and training
    - Tutor and mentor other members of the IP team.

You will collaborate with GE and/or LM patent attorneys to draft and file patent specifications and drive the prosecution of LM’s patent applications around the world. The patent team works closely with internal and external stakeholders and provides IP-services necessary to secure our investment in new technologies and provide freedom to operate and innovate in the field of wind turbine blades.

    - You have significant experience within the patent area
    - You understand complex, technical ideas, and appreciate how intellectual property supports the commercial aims of the business
    - You are a full or part qualified UK or European Patent Attorney

As a person, we expect that you are self-driven, able to work independently and systematically in a transparent manner, with the ability to work under pressure
You will take responsibility and set high standards by which your work is measured
A thirst for knowledge is essential, as is a desire to continually develop your skills within all aspects of patent-related work

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and empathy, with the ability to build productive relationships with a wide group of stakeholders
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential

You will be based in our headquarters in Kolding, Denmark. Alternatively, you could work, from the Engineering office in Lyngby near Copenhagen, Denmark or in our Heerhugowaard office in the Netherlands, with regular trips to other LM sites.
