Service on a rope

Our Rope teams comprise a special part of LM Wind Power’s service operations. Each team consists of two specially trained service technicians and can be deployed on all turbine tower types.

The Rope teams comprise a flexible and cost effective solution for handling lighter service tasks as large equipment such as cranes and other tools are not needed to perform the jobs.

The Rope teams primarily handle surface inspections and smaller repair tasks e.g. involving Vortex generators, lightning receptors, minor holes and imperfections.

Safety is top priority. Therefore, the service technicians always work together in pairs and they are all qualified to carry out rescues if needed.
