LM Wind Power produces the widest range of wind turbine blades and has proved over the years that when it comes to blades we are our own competition.
Our 73.5 meter blades are the first 70+ meter blades to be installed as Alstom inaugurated the largest offshore wind turbine in the world on March 19, 2012 at Carnet in the Loire-Atlantique region of France.
The impressive composite structures have been developed specifically for Alstom’s Haliade 150-6MW wind turbine in a close collaboration between the two companies to boost energy capture while keeping loads down.
Our innovations in blade design and technology have defined generations of wind turbine blades, and is continuing to inspire and define the industry with our products and cutting edge technology. The LM 61.5 P2 is the longest wind turbine blade in serial production and our GloBlade® series are our newest innovations, which have hit the wind running.
The GloBlade® series, the LM 61.5 P2 and every other product that is rolled out of any one of LM Wind Power’s factories around the world comes with quality assurance. Our wind turbine blades are designed and built to stand the test of time and rough weather and are of the same superior quality irrespective of where in the world they are produced.
