In June 2010, LM Wind Power created a logistics record by flying two 42 meter GloBlades® across continents on the world’s largest aircraft ‘Antonov 225’.
The two 42.1 meters long GloBlade® test blades were brought to Denmark from China by the world's biggest airplane, Antonov 225 in June 2010. The blades went through extensive testing in LM Wind Power’s Global Technology Center in Lunderskov. But that is not the story. The blades were transported with not so much as a scratch on their surface.

LM Wind Power Service & Logistics offers transportation of blades from any of LM Wind Power’s factories in cooperation with leading logistics provider Professional Logistics Group (PLG). Called the Blades Logistics Systems (BLS), the service is a supplementary logistics service that we offer to LM Wind Power customers.
