LM Glasfiber acquired Svendborg Brakes in July 2009, thus creating the LM Wind Power Group. In 2010 LM Glasfiber was renamed to LM Wind Power Blades and LM Wind Power Service & Logistics was established.

Former LM Glasfiber entities have been or are in the process of being renamed to apply to below structure. Svendborg Brakes retains its distinct brand identity to further build on the company's powerful position as a leading supplier of braking solutions.
